Launch of the fourth edition of the Ischia International Prize for Architecture 2011, festival born out of collaboration between the Association PIDA, the Order of Architects of Naples, ANAB, the magazine Compasses and Federalberghi with the aim of rewarding the most beautiful hotels and SPA in the world spreading the combination between architecture and the culture of hospitality. Filippo Cannata, whose philosophy based on the concepts of “quality of result” and “respect for nature” is in line with the principles mentioned in the manifesto of this established reality, intervenes to illuminate the home of the prestigious event, the park of Villa La Colombaia in the enchanting island of Ischia, the historic summer residence of Luchino Visconti. A soft and suffused light, well-orchestrated, will give a new and more attractive configuration to the green presences of the garden; pines, oaks, olive trees that guard the roses so dear to the director will become involved in a beautiful setting that enhances the original landscape of the place. The artificial light will have a dialogue with the light of the moon by adding a note of wonder at the magic of this little corner of paradise and whispering to the ear of Nature the word “emotion”.
