| Light successions at the Palace of Arts in Naples (PAN) |
Monday, 12th December 2011 at 18:00 p.m., at the Palace of Arts in Naples (PAN), will take place the presentation of the book "Contemporary Houses - Twenty-two projects of author" by Sonia Cocozza. The author, journalist of interiors, and also author of the book "Living in the Mediterranean", tells modern villas, houses studios, aristocratic palaces, private apartments, documenting them in a natural and spontaneous way. How do you build a living space? How do the experts interpret the contemporary home? The answers come directly to the heart of the project through the striking images of the photographer Gianni Franchellucci.
Filippo Cannata illuminate the event with the installation "Successions of light" inspired by the ancient gesture of writing and illuminating. "The book, after all, what is but a long story made of words, gestures and images?" A central element and a small box will reveal the mystery of light and writing. Two instruments, bulb and pencil, and two gestures, illuminate and write, with their symbolic and archetypal value will stimulate ancestral memories hidden under our hyper-technology contemporaneity.
